The recognition highlights Nanoflex Robotics’ pioneering work in developing telerobotic solutions to transform endovascular care, particularly in the treatment of stroke. The company’s Remote Intervention System (RIS) is designed to enable interventional specialists to perform critical procedures, such as thrombectomies, remotely. By eliminating the need for patient transfers, Nanoflex Robotics’ technology has the potential to significantly expand access to life-saving care and improve patient outcomes.

“We are honoured to be recognized among such accomplished peers and grateful to ZKB and Technopark Zurich for their support,” said Matt Curran, CEO of Nanoflex Robotics. “This recognition underscores the importance of our mission: to increase access to critical stroke treatment by overcoming the geographical and logistical barriers that prevent timely care. We believe our technology can make a meaningful difference in patients all around the world.”

As Nanoflex Robotics advances toward clinical trials in 2026, the company continues to work closely with a global network of clinical partners who provide critical input on system design, usability, and integration into real-world workflows.

“We’re especially grateful to the clinicians who collaborate with us,” Curran added. “Their insights are instrumental to us as we refine our system and prepare to bring to market our cutting-edge telerobotics platform.”
